안녕하세요,

저는 UBC 에서 생물학(B.Sc, 2021)을 전공하고 SFU 에서 교육학 학사(B.Ed, 2024)를 마친 졸업생입니다. 현재 숙제, 학습 전략, 그리고 시험 준비에 도움을 필요로 하는 학생들에게 튜터링 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.

BC 교육과정을 잘 이해하고 있으며, 영어를 주 언어로 사용하지만, 한국어로도 튜터링을 제공합니다.

제가 제공하는 교재와 워크시트는  BC주 학교에서 직접 사용되고 있습니다.

튜터링 과목은 다음과 같습니다:

-수학 및 프리칼큘러스 (5-10학년)

-과학 (5-10학년)

-생물학 (11-12학년)

-화학 (11학년)

-영어 (5-12학년), 주로 에세이 작성 중심

저의 관련 경험은 다음과 같습니다:

-Sylvan Learning Center 에서 근무

-한국의 공립 중학교에서 영어 교육

-코퀴틀람 교육청에서의 교사 연수 및 실습 경험 (Science 9, Science 10, Biology 11)

-4년 이상의 개인 튜터링 경험

제 튜터링 요금은 시간당 $60입니다.

주로 대면 튜터링을 제공합니다.

Hello,

I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. in Biology (2021) and have completed my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Simon Fraser University (2024). I am currently offering tutoring services to students who need assistance with homework, study strategies, and exam preparation.

I have a strong familiarity of the BC curriculum and recent classroom experience, and I can offer tutoring in  both English and Korean. The worksheets that textbooks that I provide are directly used in schools in BC.

I offer tutoring in the following subjects:

-Math and Pre-Calculus (Grades 5-10)

-Science (Grades 5-10)

-Biology (Grades 11-12)

-Chemistry (Grade 11)

-English (Grades 5-12), with a focus on essay writing

Relevant experience includes:

-Working at Sylvan Learning Center

-Teaching English at a public middle school in South Korea

-Teacher training and practicum experience with the Coquitlam School District (Science 9, Science 10, Biology 11)

-Over 4 years of private tutoring experience

My tutoring rate is 60/hr. 

I primarily offer services in-person.
