Job Opportunity: Marketer / Content Creator
Location: Burnaby, BC (On-Site Only)
 Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a talented and creative Marketer/Content Writer to join our dynamic dental specialty team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling and skilled at crafting engaging, high-quality content that connects with and educates our patients.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in digital marketing—especially across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google and youtube platforms. You’ll collaborate directly with our doctors and office manager to create content that builds brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports our growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit original content for social media, website pages, and email campaigns.
 - Collaborate with doctors and the office manager to align content with business objectives and marketing strategies.
 - Develop and execute content strategies tailored to various platforms and audiences.
 - Optimize all content for SEO to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.
 - Design basic visual content using Adobe programs to complement written materials.
 - Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) that educate, inform, and engage potential patients.
 - Coordinate and manage video shoots, including scripting, storyboarding, and basic editing.
 - Contribute to email marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and branding.
 - Stay current with digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and healthcare industry best practices.
 - Proofread and edit content for grammar, accuracy, brand voice, and clarity.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in a Content Writer, Content Marketer, or Digital Marketing role.
 - Demonstrated experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and Youtube marketing.
 - Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio of published content.
 - Proficient in content research and strategy development.
 - Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization.
 - Proficiency in Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign).
 - Experience in videography—including planning, filming, and editing short-form video content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
 - Comfort with basic video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
 - Experience in healthcare or patient-focused industries is an asset.
 - Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
